i just bought my first dSLR. it's the EOS 450D. this was after months of reading the reviews of both (d60 and 450d) and their next higher end models, i'd even downloaded manuals of both and read them. i'd say, you cannot compare d60 to 450d, they're not on the same level. 450d to D80 or even the D90 i think. i love the d60 handling and body, to me it's more "sexier" than the 450d, BUT i love the 450d's AEB, WB bracketing, direct access button (you can even program the "SET" button).
